Unit 12 My favorite subject is science (Period 1)
Aims and demands:
a) arouse the students’ interest in English
b) students are to grasp some vocabularies like : subject, science, why, because and revise some description words.
c) help students successfully to describe their preferences by using “favorite” correctly and give reasons.
d) cultivate the students’ ability of speaking and listening skills like how to get key information while listening
e) students should know the importance of learning all the subjects well

b) maintain some listening skills
