Step 2 Revision.
1. What do I do? What do you do?
2. Revise the words about jobs.
Step 3 Vocabulary teaching
    1. Use six pictures on the video to teach the new words.
      a professional basketball player, an engineer, a computer programmer, an actor, a pilot, astronaut
    2. Test your memory.
Step 4 Do with 1a.
      Do you think these jobs are interesting? Rank them (1-6), then tell the reasons.
      (1 is the most interesting, 6 is the least interesting)
Step 5 Presentation
   1. Use one of my pictures to let the students guess:
      a. Who’s this?
      b. What did I want to be when I was a middle school student?
      c. How did I do that?
    2. Ask the students questions.
      a. What do you want to be when you grow up?
      b. How are you going to do that?
Step 6 Practice
    1. Paris work.

Step 7 Learn a chant

Step 8 Listening
    1. 1b. First, listen and match the items, then check the answers.
    2. 2a, 2b. First, listen and check the correct boxes in the picture, then listen again and fill in the chart. (What are Cheng Han’s plans in the future? Third, check the answers.
Step 9 Make a survey

 

Step 1 Revision
       Review the job words we’ve learned in the first period. By showing flash cards.
Step 2 Lead---in     2c
询问同学Do you still remember Cheng Han?之后向大家展示幻灯片,   并请两位同学进行问答:What’s Cheng Han going to be?Where is he going to move?
     新知识的导入建立在已掌握的旧知识基础之上,学生的现实生活经验有助于他们理解能力的提高。他们所学的新知识需要借助原有的生活经验,才容易被理解和接受。
Step 3 Pairwork
       再向大家展示3张幻灯片,要求同学二人一组,仿造2c编新对话。
Step 4 Presentation 教新单词
展示1张关于巴黎的幻灯片,让同学思考:这是一座怎样的城市?借此教新单词:artist,exhibition 等。
Step 5 Reading 3a                                                     展示1张女孩的照片在幻灯片上,告诉同学们:Her name is Tian Tian.She wrote a diary to tell us about her future.Let’s read it and underline the things that she is going to do. 学生快速阅读之后并回答:What is she going to do?Where is she going to move?
      此环节教之于阅读技巧:带着问题阅读,具有针对性,学生能抓住文章大意,也便于学生快速找到答案。
Step 6 Explain the language items.                                        处理了上面的问题后,再对甜甜的日记中部分知识点给以解释,并展示在幻灯片上。      
      此环节属于精读,有助于学生详细理解全文句型结构等。
Step 7 Pairwork 3b

 

先让两位学生阅读对话,其余学生听并回答What is she going to do? Where is she going to work? 再让学生据自己的理想完成表格,最后仿照3b进行分组活动。                                                       学习的过程是自我生成的过程,这种生成是他人无法取代的,是由内向外的生长,而不是由外向内的灌输。因此,在课堂教学中,教师一定要把时间和空间还给学生,让学生最大限度的扮演主角。
Step 8 Groupwork 4                                                     展示一张2008奥运会会标在幻灯片上,询问学生:奥运会召开期间你打算做些什么?在学生思考好后让其进行分组讨论活动。                  此环节使学生在轻松愉快的气氛中学习英语,让他们感到学习是一种乐趣,而不是负担,从而乐于开口说英语,提高学习效率。

 

Step 1 Lead in the new lesson
       由过新年许愿、谈新年设想来导入新课,该话题应该是学生很感兴趣的话题,有亲身经历合体会,新课的导入便顺理成章,水到渠成。
     新知识需要借助原有的生活经验,才容易被理解和接受。
Step 2 To lean the verb phrases
通过图片的内容来导入动词词组,充分体现情景教学。
Step 3 Pairwork 
           ---What are you going to do next year?
           ---I’m going to +V+……
通过活动来加强对所学知识的理解。
Step 4 1a. Match the pictures with the New Year’s Resolution. Number the pictures 1-5.

Step3 Key words check
Ask students to check all the words they know in Unit 10. Get students to find out the meanings of the words they don’t know by reviewing the lesson , asking classmates or looking them up in a dictionary.

Group work: Make a list
Say our school and our city will become more beautiful. So some American exchange students are going to visit our school next week. Discuss what we are going to do with them? Make a list.

 Step 6 Make an interview: Weekend plans!
Say: A good plan is a good beginning to success. So we must plan our activities.
Let students make an interview:
What are they going to do this weekend?
How are they going to do it?
Where are they going?
Who are they going to go with?
Why are they going to do that?

Step 6 Lead in the new language points

Step 7 Review and practice
       通过图片来复习并整合所学知识,会把时间和空间还给学生,会起到双倍的效果。
